Indonesia Hijab Festival Blossoming in Bandung

Indonesia’s city of creativity, Bandung, is hosting the inaugural Indonesia Hijab Festival. From June 13 to 16, Indonesia’s hijab fashionistas will be entertained by a dazzling array of hijab fashion exhibitions, fashion shows, hijab tutorial demonstrations and musical performances by local artists. The festival will also include a blogging competition, talk shows and a halal food festival.
The event plans to showcase around 100 Islamic fashion brands such as Jenahara, Dian Pelangi, Ria Miranda and Zoya. Several celebrity guest appearances expected at the event include actress Zaskia Adya Mecca and best-selling writer Muhammad Assad.
Indonesia Hijab Festival 2012 takes place at Sasana Budaya Ganesha (Sabuga), Bandung. For ticket information, check out their Facebook page or Twitter timeline.
