Qur’an on the Go
The Quran Reader developed by Batoul Apps is simply gorgeous.
Not only does it look good with its photorealistic pages, it sounds good with beautiful recitation by the late renowned qari Abdul Basit ‘Abd us-Samad.
Perfect for studying the Qur’an, the Quran Reader is equipped with audio feature, translation in English and French, and tafseer in Arabic.
Each verse will be highlighted as it is being recited and you can set the app to automatically repeat each verse if you are trying to memorise it.
One great function of the Quran Reader is the notes. You can highlight a verse and key in notes on it. An email copy of the verse and the notes can be sent out directly from the app itself.
The Quran Reader for iPhone costs US$3.99 and the Quran Reader HD for iPad costs US$6.99.
Users who would like to have the translation of the Qur’an in other languages can download the app developed by Shaheen Soft.
The Qur’an translation is available in English, Urdu, Dutch, French, Farsi, German, Hindi and Turkish.
For both iPad and iPhone, the apps cost US$2.99 each. The lite version is free.
