Rejuvenate your old or plain lampshade using cute rosettes with this simple idea presented by Jennifer.
The required supplies:
- Old or plain lampshade
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- 3-5 yards length of desired fabric (in this project, gauze fabric was used)
Step 1: Make a small slit, pull and tear along the fabric. About one inch away, cut another slit and do the same until you have used up all the fabric.
Step 2: Twist and twirl each strip forming a rosette shape. Cut the strips into different lengths to create various rosette sizes.
Step 3: Apply glue to secure the formation and leave it to cool down. Then go ahead to affix them onto the lampshade.
Step 4: Stand back and admire your creation!
Here are some other creations by Jennifer using different coloured fabrics.
We hope you will give this a try and tell us about it.
